This item significantly boosts your sustained damage output by applying an ever-increasing penalty to enemies you damage over time, making it a compelling choice for players who focus on debuffing enemies and stacking DoT effects.

Tyrant's Bane is a socketable Horadric Jewel that can be placed into rings or amulets. Like all Horadric Jewels, it grants 160 Armor and 8% Resistance to All Elements, providing defensive stats that help offset some vulnerability while you increase your offensive power.

This means every tick of your DoT gradually stacks a damage amplification that accumulates indefinitely on the enemy, enabling your damage to ramp up dramatically the longer the fight persists. Over extended battles, this can result in exponential damage increases, exponentially speeding up boss kills and tough encounters.

When you apply any damage-over-time effect to an enemy, Tyrant's Bane activates a stacking debuff on that enemy. Every tick of your DoT adds 0.33% more damage over time that the enemy will take from you, scaling infinitely and permanently during that encounter.
