In order to play Treasure Hunt in Monopoly GO,  you need pickaxes or shovels to break the squares find the treasure and grab the rewards. But like in Prize Drop the tokens that you use in the event can be quite hard to come by. Don't worry, in this guide, we tell you all of the ways to get free of them!

Note: Dig events only run from time to time, usually for four days every three or four weeks so if you are not seeing one in your game right now, check out our all events explained on U4gm to see if there is one coming soon. Events and Tournaments

While a dig event is active, the events and tournaments currently running will usually offer pickaxes and shovels at certain milestones. Check out the milestone rewards list related to the current events to see where they are located and how many pickaxes and shovels you can get. Main solo events are the best place to get more pickaxes and shovels, but tournaments are also good but you may not get as many.

Quick Wins

There are new Quick Wins posted every day and while a dig event are running, some of the rewards will include shovels or pickaxes. Completing all three Quick Wins daily can net you about a dozen pickaxes.

Shop Gifts

Check out the shop by tapping on the three lines at the top right of the game page, the scroll the top panel over to the right as far as it will go to reveal the eight hourly free shop gift. While these dig events are running you may get some free pickaxes or shovels as part of this free gift pack.
