The Aion 2 Launch Scale Test arrives on September 17–18, only a short time before Advanced Access on September 30 and the global launch on October 5. Because every character will be wiped, the test has a very different purpose from a normal early-access period. Players who want to prepare for Aion 2 Items should focus on learning systems, routes, and combat habits instead of trying to create a permanent stockpile.

That also changes how Aion 2 Items should be tested. There is no reason to treat temporary materials as precious or spend hours chasing perfect early gear. The more useful goal is to understand how quickly a character can progress, which upgrades matter, and where inefficient decisions can slow you down once the permanent servers become available.

Find Your Personal Speedrun Route

Reaching level 35 is one of the clearest benchmarks to practice. A well-organized route can take roughly two and a half to three hours, and level 35 unlocks four important dungeons in exploration mode.

Rather than copying a route without understanding it, watch how each stage contributes to your overall speed. Notice which quests naturally fit into your movement and which objectives cause unnecessary detours.

Try the route more than once if possible. The first attempt teaches you where everything is. The second shows where you lose time. By the end of the test, you should have a much clearer idea of how you want to approach the opening hours of the live game.

Turn Teleports Into a Habit

Efficient leveling is not only about combat and quests. Map mobility matters as well.

Whenever you pass a teleport point, consider whether it is worth unlocking immediately. Building this habit during the test can prevent repeated long-distance travel later. Even if you remember the locations, the important part is developing the instinct to unlock useful travel options as you encounter them.

This may seem like a minor improvement, but small travel decisions add up during a long progression session. A player who consistently reduces unnecessary movement can spend more time completing objectives and less time crossing familiar areas.

Experiment With Skill Breakpoints

The test is also an excellent opportunity to understand how skill points affect early combat. Avoid automatically spreading points across every ability. Instead, experiment with concentrating points into the skills that form the core of your normal rotation.

Left-click and right-click abilities are natural priorities to test, while stagger controls can be important in encounters where interrupting or controlling enemies affects the fight. Upgrade breakpoints around levels 8, 12, and 16 can help reveal where focused investment provides meaningful gains.

Do not worry if your first setup turns out to be inefficient. That is one of the main advantages of a temporary test. You can make a questionable decision, observe the result, and try something different without damaging your permanent character.

Improve Your Dodge-Roll Timing

Players should also spend some of the test learning enemy attack patterns. Dodge rolls have invulnerability frames, meaning correct timing can allow you to avoid incoming damage.

This is a mechanical skill, so reading about it is not enough. Fight enemies that challenge your reactions and pay attention to their attack tells. Learn the animation that signals an incoming hit and practice rolling at the appropriate moment.

A few successful dodges may not seem important during the test, but the knowledge carries directly into the live game. Better defensive timing can reduce deaths and make difficult encounters feel much more manageable.

Do Not Waste the Reset

Some activities simply do not deserve heavy investment during a 48-hour test. Hoarding currency and upgrade materials is an obvious example. Anything stored on the temporary character disappears when the test ends.

The same applies to pushing one disposable gear piece far beyond the rest of your equipment. A more sensible approach is to practice balanced enhancement, such as improving several pieces by +1 rather than putting everything into one item.

Pet crystal optimization should also wait. Learning how Genus Insight crystals work is useful, but repeatedly farming for ideal Smite-related rolls is not a good use of limited testing time. Save serious min-maxing for the permanent economy.

Stay Inside the Launch Rules

It is also important not to build test strategies around content that will not define the initial live environment. Season 1 limits players to four equipped stigmas, while heroic gear is locked out of the global launch pool.

That means a build designed around rushing toward unavailable high-tier gear has little practical value for launch preparation. Understanding future systems is fine, but your early route should be based on what you can actually use when the global servers open.

Final Preparation That Actually Matters

The Launch Scale Test should be treated as a rehearsal, not a competition for temporary wealth. The strongest preparation comes from learning the level 35 route, unlocking teleports automatically, testing skill point priorities, practicing dodge timing, and comparing classes before choosing your permanent main.

Once the live servers open, the economy will matter much more because your character and resources will finally persist. If you are planning to buy Aion 2 Kinah, understanding your early progression route will make those resources easier to put toward useful goals instead of covering avoidable inefficiencies. The reset removes your temporary progress, but it cannot remove the experience you gain from making better decisions.
