Maranda Murph has been a CART provider for nine years. Maranda obtained her RCP in 2013. She attended steno school for approximately three years before making the switch to voice writing. Maranda studied voice writing at Verbatim Careers Institute with Ardith Spies.
She regularly provides CART, on site and remote, for a number of college and Universities. She has also provided CART services for the IRS, Army Corps of Engineers, United Nations, and several other professional organizations.
Maranda is currently serving on the NVRA Board as President. During her board service she has volunteered for several committees and tasks including the store, membership benefits, convention team, and test writing. Maranda was also responsible for setting up, maintaining, and administering the RCP/RBC tests remotely. In 2015 she received the President’s Volunteer of the Year Award. Maranda lives in southern Indiana with her husband and children.
