Two Point Studios Developing Multiple New Games, Including Possible Two Point Series Sequel
Two Point Studios, the developer behind Two Point Campus, is working on several new games, including a potential next entry in their Two Point series. Like previous titles from the studio, these new games are expected to be released on PC. Founded in July 2016, Two Point Studios aims to revive the simulation genre on PC and consoles. In 2017, the studio signed a publishing deal with SEGA and released their first game, Two Point Hospital, for PC in 2018.
The success of Two Point Hospital led to the release of console versions in 2020 and the university-themed sequel Two Point Campus in 2022. In 2024, Two Point Studios appears to be expanding its workforce and preparing for the launch of multiple new games. As reported by TheGamer, Two Point Studios and SEGA have posted a job listing that suggests the development of several new titles. The listing, which is no longer publicly accessible, indicates that the studio is seeking a senior art manager to ensure the game's "Little People have a fantastically rich and expansive world to inhabit." This job posting likely refers to the next entry in the shared "Two Point County" universe, which includes the settings for Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus. While specific details about this particular Two Point game have not been disclosed, the listing reiterates that it is an upcoming release and one of Two Point Studios' "next games." Around the time the job listing went live, Two Point Studios' official social channels teased a development in the Two Point County community as well.
Each tease features Two Point County resident Wiggy Silverbottom, who is "always on the lookout for his next adventure." Silverbottom made a discovery that seems to have slipped from his grasp, and one of the recent Twitter posts by Two Point Studios released a cipher, which was quickly decoded by the studio's Discord server. The decoded message reads "goons meet back at the lagoon," and the Two Point Campus community received a new artifact as a reward on July 16. Despite the limited information regarding the studio's new games, fans of the Two Point franchise will have plenty of titles to anticipate. It has been two years since the release of Two Point Campus on consoles and PC, so development of the studio's next game should be well underway by now. An announcement could be made soon if the team has made sufficient progress to showcase one of the new games.
